| Tour Jim Allott will once again be hosting the “Gardens In The Sky Tour” at the Whiteface Memorial Highway. Tours are weekly Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning July 6th thru Labor Day weekend. The tours are free and those wanting to take the tour can meet at the castle at 11:00 am. This tour discusses the flora and fauna, geology, and history of the Whiteface Memorial Highway. 518-946-2223

| ![]() Summer ski jumping competition on the 90-meter jump. The top eastern jumpers sail from the 90-meter ski jump tower in a king-of-the-hill format. These athletes, aspiring to secure spots on the United States National Team, make use of Lake Placid’s artificial jumping surfaces to emulate winter speeds and distances. It’s a summer activity dating back years. Ski jumpers, aerial skiers, mogul skiers and freeriders train daily at the Olympic Jumping Complex. Each week at 1 pm, these young fliers throw down for the masses in competitions and exhibitions in Soaring Saturdays or Wet and Wild Wednesdays. Admission: $14 for adults, $8 for juniors/seniors Admission includes the chairlift alongside the ski jump landing hills and the 26-story elevator ride to the top of the 120 meter ski jump tower for unparalleled views of the High Peaks.
